Sant Joan les Fonts Medieval route

Medieval Route

The medieval World is one of the most exciting moments of our history. Gentlemen and ladies living in fortified houses and castles. Nobles and gentlemen governing the territory, monks and monasteries located in places of great beauty.

We can visit one of the most interesting examples of civil and religious architecture of the medieval period in Sant Joan les Fonts. The church of the Benedictine monastery (XII century), the fortified Juvinyà castle (XII – XIV Centuries), the medieval bridge (XIII Century), among other places which are the witnesses of a period that left its mark in our home.
